L7 Oilfield & Pipeline Construction was awarded the contract to repurpose and upgrade the Briscoe BL15 site for SM Energy. The project centered around the installation of a 108” 750 slug catcher, including all necessary tie-ins and foundations, as well as the implementation of a smaller 60” slug catcher to further enhance site functionality.

The scope of work included civil engineering, which involved constructing reinforced concrete pads and piers to support the equipment, as well as fabricating and installing all new piping systems required for operational readiness. A new flare system was also added, complete with a concrete foundation and KO skid piping fabrication.

1. Concrete Foundations and Civil Work:
   • Designed and poured concrete pads and piers for the slug catchers and flare system to provide stable support for heavy equipment.
2. Slug Catcher Installations:
   • Installed a 108” 750 slug catcher and fabricated all necessary piping tie-ins to integrate the system with the existing infrastructure.
   • Installed a 60” slug catcher, including its foundation, tie-ins, and required support systems.
3. Flare System Installation:
   • Constructed a concrete pad for the flare system and fabricated piping connections to the KO skid for operational efficiency.
4. Additional Piping Fabrication:
   • Fabricated and installed all piping required for integration of the slug catchers, flare system, and KO skid, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.
